Burnley - Post Match Thread

Won ugly, back to top, not convincing but just need to grind out results, especially weeks when we play in Europe.

Worrying how bad we can look at times.

Kolarov and Otamendi are both fucking brainless liabilities.
 
No Silva, no KDB starting, a makeshift back 4, a trip to Germany only 3 days ago and a ref who at best shit it off the home crowd, at worst was bent and we were fairly comfortable in the end.
 
3pts is all it about

When I saw the team sheet I sort of expected that type of performance and after a Champs game mid week as well.

Scrappy but effective and in the second half we deserved it.

Some in the media will spin it as unlucky/plucky Burnley but other than the first 20 mins there out dated and basic brand of football got them what they deserved.....nothing.

Weeks rest now till Chelski next week and Silva had the whole game off with Ilky and KDB only played 15-20mins at max so all of them should be raring to go by next Saturday....Stones as well.

2 back to back away wins in the prem league away from home (at shit pub football teams) is a good base to into the xmas period as well

And it was BT that made us play early Saturday after Wednesday night in Germany.
 
At the end of the season we will look back to this match and it will be one of those hard fought 3 points.
Fantastic win regardless.
 
Wow.... heart burn. I think the ball spent more time in the air than the ground. And that second goal was like something out of the keystone cops. Ferby and Aguero were ON today.

According to BT it was the dappled light from the surrounding hills.

That was an excuse to offset the fact that the knobs had their cameras pointing straight at the sun, which even the simplest of us know is very low in the sky at this time of year.
 
On another note, that might have been the most bias commentary I've ever heard from BT, which is fucking saying something. Savage and Trevor Francis are utter ****s
 
2 scrappy goals to win that. Very much welcome considering the luck we have had in the 3 home draws.

Still 3rd best in the league with everyone else still to play.
 
Just bit the bullet and cancelled BT. No way can I fund people like Trevor Francis. One bitter horrible twat. Good riddance.
