Burnley - Post Match Thread

Got to get some representation into the referees association, this officiating is becoming a real joke now. Don't like the fact that we are beginning to play at least 12 men before a ball is kicked.

I was going to mention Sane but thought I would be coming across as quite negative so deleted it- so similar to sterling I just keep shouting for them both to try and beat the man especially when we are playing lesser skilled teams who are more lilkey to panic and give away a penalty.

Still though-- how good where those goals for us today we usually have them scored against us !!
 
Pep would have got slated had we lost so much credit to him for the win. We have fresh legs for a big game next week and avoided a banana skin. Fernando was very good.

If we sign a centre back, we should sign a proper one who can actually dominate rather than struggle to keep up.

Otherwise we might as well just stick with the ones we have.

We needed somene 4 inches taller 2 stone heavier & 2 yards quicker than Otamendi when we signed him. We still haven't found that player.

I think Pep has played a blinder with his comment about the ref's. No ban for what he said but the press will let them know what he meant.

Bought two speedy wingers who are void of any idea what to do with the ball. Thought Sterling was poor, infact he's done nothing really to change my mind that he's just an expensive version of Aaron lennon. Poor decision making and unable to cross a ball or take a decent dead ball kick.

Don't be a fool, watch the game today. His lack of quality on the ball was obvious.
 
Well done City to come from a goal down to beat the clod hoppers from Burnley and that bent twat Marriner. Booked our players at the first opportunity and gave them free kicks for the softest of challenges. Team effort today and everyone chipped in to get us over the line. I think Pep is started to get tired of coming up against long ball hoof it merchants week after week. It's boring and hardly a test of his of footballing ethos. Premier League is going backwards with teams like Burnley, Palace and United.

And for all the constant bullshit praise for Burnley 'fighting' we fought for both those goals.

Which is why I think we have a great chance of the title.
