Burnley - Post Match Thread

BT talking about should Burnley have had a penalty, glossing over the fact that he was offside.

That said, a win is a win is a win.
Same in Oz. Kevin Kilbane and the main commentator must have mentioned it at least 10 times during the broadcast...only one did they say "he might have been offside".

Think I'd have to kill myself if I had to endure the dross that Sean 'dinasouar' dyche served up

Appallingly anti football from Burnley but no doubt they'll be praised for the fight and spirit they showed

Its the English mentality unfortunately and why the national game is light years behind the rest of the world in the main.

Huff, puff, run about like a headless chicken and play for the set piece.

Yet to hear anyone in the media even mention the incredibly blatant foul on Yaya before our second goal, they seem to collectively just ignore the fact that their big shit house defender ran past the ball and just knee'd Yaya in the stomach instead. Luckily we managed to get a break of the ball and score because the referee had no intention of giving us anything for it

They were as aggro as hell when the official wasn't looking and then lost balance whenever we challenged them. That total POS shoved Sane the moment he stepped on the field! What a crock of shit.....

Pep - I need time to understand the referees - sly dig that by Pep!

All he needs to understand is that they're all part of the unconscious bias against us (but not just us). Anyone who has any doubts just needs to listen to the likes of Tyler, Savage, Mills, Francis, Webb et al.

Pretty much, post this in any neutral forum and you'd get slated for criticising little old Burnley

That Scottish **** in the box just said "Howard Webb told us the penalty should have been given" NO he didn't he said it was offside. The lying little fuck.

True but he did go on to say as the flag never went up, the pen should have been given but it's a moot point as the offside was the first wrong call so how Burnley can feel any sense of injustice is beyond me.

Good result and thought we deserved the win albeit still not nearly at what we can and perhaps should do.

Can anyone enlighten us on the Sterling injury?

Not serious I hope.
