Yes. But back in Manchester already, Driving back early hours MondayAre you going tomorrow ? I'm going straight from work to MK for the train, had to do an extra damn shift tonight, hoping its not 0-0.....
Nope.
Midweek night, the free-flowing traffic in Manchester, 50k converging on the stadium, the clockwork-like reliability of Metrolink, loads of pissed up Celtic fans, City's usual impeccable organisational excellence and a completely new security measure.
No - can't see any significant risks there.
What do you mean ?I think I might get there for 5:30 to be on the safe side
Especially as there is no chance of getting in a pub in our own city wearing our own club's colours
What do you mean ?
Against Bucharest was denied access to shambles square as my white t shirt had mcfc on itWhat do you mean ?
Exactly thisLots of pubs have a no colours policy for city fans but if united are at home they allow fans to wear the club shop - Wetherspoons Piccadily for example.
Unbelievable that, everyone of those pubs should be named & no city fan , colours or not should ever set foot in them again....maybe that's what they want? I do get the impression that we are not welcome in town tbh.Lots of pubs have a no colours policy for city fans but if united are at home they allow fans to wear the club shop - Wetherspoons Piccadily for example.
Happening at more and more places, its getting stupid. Tibb st tavern advertises itself as a sports bar but if you wear colours you arent fucking coming in.Against Bucharest was denied access to shambles square as my white t shirt had mcfc on it
Against Barca we were denied access to Lloyds bar unless we all kept out coats on, fucking wankers
Where's Lloyds bar ? ....just so I make sure they never get my custom .Against Bucharest was denied access to shambles square as my white t shirt had mcfc on it

I'm in the same position. Can't make the game so have given our season tickets to my son and his mate. I'm assuming that anyone with a season ticket will not get an ID check.I have two tickets for this game loaded to mine and my wife's season card. My wife is going to miss the game now. I was going to give her ticket to a colleague at work but not sure now. I don't know what the new security will have to say about it?
Yep, it's about time we started deducting points if tickets aren't used. Saturday morning and still plenty available.Which is sad. It's a City home match so I'm going. I appreciate some folk live or work further afield but Celtic don't come around every season.
"Can I see your tickets please?"
"Och aye, here ya goo"
"Thanks, enter at turnstile T for Colin Bell Stand."
"Quality, we'll gan tae there noo"
A job well done by MCFC and showsec.
