Celtic game - strict security measures announced (page 34)

Fucking joke.

When the lights on their phones were lit up nearly 50% of the ground were doing it. That's Celtic fans plus probably some who didn't do it and managed to restrain themselves!

Absolute joke that that many managed to get into the ground. The 'strict' security measures were a joke and all.

Do you really think that there were nearly 25,000 Celtic supporters there?

Couple of thousand you clown, mainly in the CB stand.

Well over a hundred in three blocks around me. They were celebrating when they scored and goading anyone they could. A repugnant act of defiance. The stewards did not want to know.

I haven't seen it kick off like it did in the South Stand / East Stand corner for many seasons. Possibly ever. Mega fuck up from City.

Absolutely farsical. The club should be ashamed of themselves tonight.

You on about half time in 120? that was city fans with one celtic fan and some blues wasnt it?

What was the point of the extra barrier?
If it was to make sure all fans had tickets for the right section it didn't work.
If it was to make sure fans going to the match had a ticket then pointless.
There were scuffles all over as the celtic fans sttod and joined in with all the songs etc.
Didn't affect me, but obviously rubbed some up the wrong way.
We must be the most accommodating club for furnishing and allowing large numbers of away fans in home end.
It wont happen again, not until the next Champs league game anyway

Strict segregation of supporters outside the ground, City have it in the T&Cs that only home fans are allowed to purchase tickets in the home stands...what did we have, away and everywhere with no segregation.

Well done City!

Who goes in the wrong end in a rival scarf and starts giving it some? It's plain disrespectful. I'd rather not go if that was me.

Our anger should be directed at City security and ticket office management whose poor measures allowed them in to the ground. It ruined any attempt at an atmosphere.
