City v Celtic post match

That's an unknown. Do you usually find it difficult to beat the bottom three teams?

Or are you just making an exception?
Don't think we usually play 2 fullbacks & an academy player all as CB's, a RB & Fernando as a CM partnership, a 20 year old RW at LWB, an academy RB at RWB, a LW at CAM.. That's as poor a side as City will play all season - and Celtic still couldn't win.

And yes, bottom 3 PL sides are always difficult to beat - that's how the PL goes, isn't a waste of time like the Scottish PL, fortunately.

One of the few home games I have missed over the years. Still fed up after Saturday's farce.

I'm glad we played some younger players. Thought they did OK, but I don't know why Sane wasn't played on the right.

I thought Gundogan, Zabaleta and Nolito were good. I wonder if Zabaleta might replace Fernandinho while he's out.

No it wasn't. Tierney and Sinclair would be in. I accept you made nine changes, but, look at them. They cost over £100m.

Don't forget your first team couldn't beat us either.

A wee tad sour grapes me thinks.

You have no divine right to win. And two attempts at a shite Scottish team and you get 2 points.

It's either we are better than you give us credit for or you are a lot worse than you believe.

It can't be both.

Your shout.

I'll give you the credit you deserve.
Over both legs you played very well with great support and could have won both games, City could have won both also.
We, City fans have been in your position in the past for over 20 years living in shadows and being the underdog so most of us recognise where you are coming from.
Good luck.

Was good to get the younger chaps out, bit of a stocking filler of a match though as nothing was riding on it. We did not need to go hell for leather and it suited us just fine.

Thought Gundogan was excellent. Willy>Bravo but that's not difficult. Defence was understandably shaky. Sane was poor until that run near the end. Kelechi looking good as was Roberts.

Fucking Celtic fans trying to use these games like they are good enough to play in this league and compete in it.

You're not. You wouldn't. Also Scott Brown is a fucking ****. Wouldn't last two months in this league. You think your team is worth more than £25m? No fucking chance.

Also don't forget who gave you the player who scored tonight, hope we draw you again next year and he fucking tears you apart. Fuck back off to the SPL where you can dry fuck Hamilton 4 times a year. ****s

Dead rubber or not we need to get into the habit of winning home games. I thought it strange aguero didn't play given he can't play the next 4. Willy staked a big claim. Maffeo looks promising.

It was arguably a tough group, but unless I’m mistaken, City qualified for the Last 16 with a game to spare.

Celtic played well in the 3-3, but then committed the classic Scottish error of taking their eye off the ball when facing a supposed lesser team.

Yes, you won the European Cup in the days when it often only took 4 games to reach the Final, but if you actually got your wish and played in England, then once the novelty wore off, you’d be like Sunderland or Newcastle ,struggling to attract the better players, even with all the Premier League money, and never playing in Europe.

Kelechi has barely played for weeks, he needed the minutes before Saturday.

No they'd be like Newcastle. In the Championship.

Once again don't knock Celtic's 67 European Cup win , it was a magnificent achievement at the time against the mighty Inter Milan and they beat the Rags to it by a year, and look how much retro publicity the Rags victory gets.
