No Otamendi, Aguero or Fernandinho for this one, but at least we got to rest a few players last night. Not sure if Sterling will be available again? Leicester haven't been in good form this season, but will surely improve at some point. It's going to be a tough game, but we're doing better away from home at the moment so hopefully we can get the win.

Cabellero
Maffeo - as we'll need some pace
Stones
Sagna.
Kolarov-Unfortunately, i'd prefer Angelino again for pace.
Fernando
Gundogan
Silva
De bruyne
Nolitto
Kelechi

I'm surprised that with the limited availability of players that last night Kelechi, Nolitto, Gundogan and Fernando all played 90 minutes, thought they'd have got some rest towards the end of the game.

No doubt we'll go 3 at the back again though and make it more complicated due to chopping and changing personnel.

Can't see Caballero or Maffeo starting mate. Wonder if we'll see De Bruyne as a false nine rather than Iheanacho?

You're probably right, but we certainly need some pace to counter Vardy and i think Caballero showed last night that a) he can play the passing game and b) looked than Bravo has recently, feel he needs a kick up the back side after last Saturday.
False 9 isn't a bad shout, no idea where Sterling is and would like him to play it as Huth and Morgan are slower the Kolarov!!!

Have we got the Ref who didn't send Rojo off on the weekend?
Think so, he'll be determined to prove himself no doubt.

Bravo
Sagna Otamendi Stones Kolarov
Fernando Touré
Sterling Gundogan De Bruyne
Iheanacho

Caballero, Clichy, Zabaleta, García, Silva, Sané, Nolito

0-3 City. If we don't win this we need to take a long look at ourselves because Leicester are shite.

live with a leicester fan, and he still brings up last seasons 1-3 at the etihad, therefore this is a must win for me

They will play long balls over the top and we will be too high up to deal with them, wouldn't be surprised by a loss or another draw

That's basically the only game Leicester play against any team and you know Pep will see this when studying their games.

For me the answer is simple. Revert back to the system that worked so well.

With Otamendi banned our defence picks it's self for me.

Bravo
Zabaleta Sagna Stones Kolarov
Gundogan
De Bruyne Silva
Sterling. Nolito
Iheanacho

That system with most of them players in those positions won 10 on the spin.

Since dropping that system the back four, De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Nolito and Aguero have all dropped off.

Get back to where the players are comfortable and we were winning.

He didn't study chelsea very well as even i said in prematch how they would play and we would get done on the counter and yet we had nobody back with pace to stop it and a goalie allergic to making saves

That's more a personnel issue, vis, we have little pace in our established back line.

Further, I'd argue Pep had it tactically right given how we bossed the game for 60 minutes.

I'm fairly certain Pep won't go into this game blind and hoping for the best, either way.

Vardy has had one shot on target in the league since September.

So can see him getting a hattrick.

You know what's gonna happen here, vardy will bag a hat trick and they will play their best game of the season. The high balls will cause problems as it always does. On current form I think we will lose this 2 0 sadly.

Bravo
Zabaleta Sagna Stones Kolarov
Fernando
Gundogan Silva
KDB Sane
Iheanacho

That is on the basis sterling is still injured, although I could also potentially see Yaya starting over Fernando and that would mean Sane being replaced by Nolito as well for his work rate/defensive attributes.

The current form of 6 wins out of 7 away ?
