City v Watford post match

Thought we were very poor and looked sluggish off the ball.

Watford never threatened so it's hard to get anything if merit out of how people performed.

Needed that win no matter what the performance was like after the last few weeks. We did alright and had control for most of the game as Watford were poor. Clean sheet as well will hopefully boost confidence.

Last note thought zabba was like zabba of old.

CAUTION MOANING POST

Yaya managed almost byhimself to rule the game for us and deliver it to their own half . Instead of sealing it with a natural CF (Iheanacho) in the 2nd half after the 65th min stubborn Pep prefered to take it by stealing the ball ...What if Ighalo had scored ?

I must concur with the other peeps bud, i'm genuinely struggling to get the last bit, not having a bash,i really can't fully grasp what you are getting at bud.

Anyway my view is a win is a win but the loss of Gundogan puts a real damp cloth on it.

Edit: read your post above explaining :-)

Important to get the win, nice to get the clean sheet, we'll need to be better at the weekend though.

Yaya, Silva and Otamendi were stand out for me. Sterling also had his moments of class, much better with him in the side.

I have a few questions here:

1) One why did City allow Tarabata or whatever his name is to pay Clichy's cab fare to the grounds? As clearly there are no other justifiable reasons why a professional will let himself be owned so completely.

2) In Yaya's hiatus, was he training with Lee Catermole?

3) Why was the Stadium so full? So many here claimed they weren't going, I was worried it'd be empty. Wrong!

4) For those who didn't go for the first time in a while, can you all please stay home from now on? You are the bad luck we've been trying to exorcise.

Thanks and carry on :)

It was still encouraging to see a well organised committed team performance. Leicester was a shambles but now I'm thinking that was a one-off

We missed Aguero but KDB ran himself into the ground. I didn't really expect a free-flowing City performance but it was a steely one. Defence did well. particularly Otamendi and Kolarov

Some of our movement was brilliant, but we had to work so hard for the second goal against a team which averages conceding 2 per game away from home.

Very true, happy at the back but hardly threatened. Going forward felt flat though. Unsurprising with Nolito in the 9 I guess. Lots of nice touches around the box but that killed ball seemed awol tonight.
