Arsenal Post Match Thread.

I just feel sorry for them to be honest, if they can't enjoy what is in front of them and what the club is currently going through considering where we come from then that's a sad state of mind.

As for me, I'm having a blast. :-)

Everbodys expectations were so much different back then though. We are at the top table now, had our foot on the rags throats until pellegrini let them breathe again. we have played well sporadically in the last few months , Chelsea (until the ****s equalised), today, and from about 30 mins in against Barca, we have also been dire as often as we've been good and only the most blinkered would suggest otherwise. Conceding regularly in the first 5 minutes has to fucking stop, that has to be lack of concentration. My biggest regret however is that we haven't dominated the dippers at all, even mancinis juggernaut couldn't humiliate the ****s and god knows we owe them one. if that changes new years eve then who knows what we might achieve this season!

Just back from game and thought we were fantastic.
We were the better team in the 1st half and after we scored we totally bossed the game.
Fernando,Kolarov,Yaya and Sterling were excellent Kdb and Silva were close behind and it was good to see Sane score.
What a pass from Kdb and a great finish from Sterling.
We played with passion and commitment and chased everything today.
Thought Bravos' passing both long and short were very good.
Looking forward to motd tonight.
It's on tomorrow mate due to the Merseyside side derby

It's not that I like a row per se, it's just I have very little time for people being bell ends.

I consider myself fairly empathetic but I cannot understand the mentality of spending a week saying we will get annihilatedand then an hour slagging Pep for team selection whilst claiming to be a City fan. I don't see what they get out of it. And with the pre match thread being locked and ignored by many they get away with it week after week.

It would be nice to just enjoy the win for once without the nay sayers and I told you so brigade gouging each others eyes out.
Nah fuck that.

The "I told you so brigade" as you call them are simply fans that had to put up with a week of vitriol prior to the game. There were more posters on red cafe giving City a chance than our own pre match thread. The nay Sayers then piss off not to be seen until we next lose a game. It's like fucking clock work.

summed up perfectly

Not getting this "shit" first half, we played ok and had 5 efforts on goal (none on target granted) but Arsenal hardly threatened except for the goal. Great game, we need to up the tempo a bit but very happy
This! Why can't others see it!

No point getting upset about it. People are entitled to their opinions, both naysayers and I told you so-ers. I believe some of the comments on here may well be aimed at me; so be it. I was very disappointed in the showing in the first half, and said so at half time. The team and the fans seemed very flat, almost like each was waiting for the other to fire them up. I said at the break that I couldn't see where a goal was coming from, based on the first half performance. Some on here have taken great umbrage at those comments of me (and others). Fine; they're free to voice their opinions. I wish to apologise to anyone who was upset by those comments. Not for the comments per se, but the fact that they seem to have got some people's backs up.

correct. It's also fucking tedious.

They nay sayers lurk in the prematch and match threads, doing nothing but slag just about everything the club is doing, most players, the manager, Txixi, shocked the kitmen dont come in for more abuse, then disappear like a fart in the wind if we win. Total shithouses at best, rags at worst, the lot of them.

I'm so happy for Pep and the team. They truly deserved that victory! Let's beat Liverpool now! Come on city!

2 questions:- 1 Why the fuck does pep still start Kev on the left? We all know he's far more effective in the middle, or even on the right, but never on the left.
2 How the fuck did Kev see that pass?

Average performance, glad to get a win out of it, hope for an improvement against Hull with Fernandinho back.
