I agree, but this is why we have spent so much money in the past few years,
We are supposedly the best prepared for such situations over the course of the year due to having a wealth of talent and a squad packed with quality, but it is not really the case

One thing is for sure, we cannot moan about having a tired squad against Burnley when they (along with Hull, who we also happen to play during this period), have the smallest squad and tightest budget in the league

We have to be more ruthless over this period than ever before and show why this lot are here, and why they arent at a side like burnley or hull. 3 wins from 3 is crucial if we want to win the league, and I have no idea if its possible considering Anfield will be buzzing on NYE
The worst thing would be to win at hull and liverpool, only to fu** it up against Burnley

Take what you mean about the quality but I thought all teams had the same amount of players registered?

On a few occasions this year, Hull have named 1/2 players less on the bench than they're supposed to
I know the 25 man rule but every club has 00's of player signed on throughout the club, reserve teams/youth teams etc fulfil this too..
There will be foreign slots in their reserve sides that arent classed as homegrown for example that they can stick into their prem squad

I don't know the absolute facts of Hull City, but I can guarantee you they don't have 25 actual first team members they have signed on as a squad.

Cheers blue.

Have the likes of Liverpool really played that many games less than us as individuals? Everytime i turn on the telly i hear "experts" telling me about the hideous over rotation by Pep. Are our players playing a lot more football than the others?

Losing to Hull would be a disaster on a far, far bigger scale than losing away to Liverpool. We need to rotate smartly, if at all, to try and win both.

I think we should field our strongest 11 for the next 3 games, then throw in a team of kids for the FA Cup ;-)

Completely disagree. I want us to do well in
the FA Cup after last season's disgrace vs Chelsea. It may likely be the only thing we have a chance of winning this season and I hope the club has not become so arrogant that they cherry pick the competitons
We should compete for everything.

Just an aside ....What happened to the player who scored at Chelsea last FA Cup game just before half - time....1-1. ?

David Faupala... currently rotting at NAC Breda (2nd division dutch league).

Apparently his agent said he has been treated unfairly and wants a new loan this window.
