why no fixtures today

the little darlings can't possibly play 2 games in 72 hours , seem to remember the likes of Tommy Doyle and King Colin managed it OK . Footballers today nowt but a bunch of fairies :)

Probably more to do with the fact that a significant amount of those supporters reliant on public transport to get home would be left high and dry.......yours truly being a case in point

Not sure if the premier league could give a shite about supporters travel issues , more likely Sky had an input on the xmas fixture programme but agree it is a long walk to Devon

TV viewings would be in the bin. As much as we love football, I don't think we're willing to risk our bollocks to watch football on Christmas Eve. Rather sink another drink and whack out the cheese board.

I don't want football on Christmas eve, imagine a derby on Christmas eve ,imagine getting beat, happy fucking Christmas.

don't know why I quoted you :)

I suppose they could've hand chosen fixtures so that no one had really stupid journeys -80miles- and all games kicked off at 1pm.

Boxing Day fixtures 'could've' been moved to Wednesday with similar travel stipulations, where practical & 1pm,3pm & 5pm kick offs.

New Years Eve off.

The final fixtures then all conclude on Monday, similar travel & 1pm & 3pm kick offs.
