Lampard: 'Aguero is so laid back'

Aguero should still be turning up on time. The other players seem to do it.

You are right he should and just because he is a favourite does not alter that.

I do think it would have been addressed under Pep. Last year was a holiday camp for the players. We had the likes of Nasri, Yaya overweight and the worst running stats in the league. You only have to look at Yaya to see things have changed.

That he's serving the last match of his suspension?

Isn't that last line misquoted? Makes him appear egotistical. I'm sure someone will have questioned that already within 13 pages.

I guess it can frustrate coaches when everyone turns up on time and a brilliant player can turn up late and be half arsed. You know if you drop them you won't see the goals either

Do you guys reckon there is a correlation between him being a supposed 'poor trainer' and his injury problems over the years?

(apologies if it's has been done to death on here)

I would imagine there could be something in that. ie Sergio not wanting to over extend himself, in case.

Wouldn't be the first player to be half arsed in training, but it's what he does on match day that counts and aguero more than makes up for it in that category, obviously when not suspended..

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he had. Begiristain is a ruthless **** and he was quick enough to character assassinate Mancini when the time came to pull the trigger. It's just the way he works, and if Pep has decided that(a big if I might add) that Aguero doesn't fit the team he wants to build, then there is no doubt in my mind that shit like this, prompted by Begiristain would start appearing in the media.
And here I was thinking the only Christmas crackers I would see today would be on the dinner table!

Old news, spread by a player who is doing copious amounts of media, because he is now free agent/retired and not on anyone's payroll.

If you think this nonsense is some kind of whisper campaign to undermine Sergio at City, you are truly mental! Why would City want to undermine one of their Crown Jewels, even if they did want to sell him? Pep put Sergio in his place earlier this season, when he benched him and told him he needed to work harder.

With the Big Three in place, there is no need to play games. If they want someone gone, they're gone. If they want them to work harder and they don't, they're benched. If they show up late for training, they are fined...and maybe even benched, too, if the message is not getting through. "The project" is coming to fruition and anyone who thinks they're bigger than it are fooling themselves.

Sergio will decide where Sergio wants to play, just as Pep will decide IF he plays here. The die is cast.
