At the risk of being called a wet fanny, I fear a bit of a hiding in this. Fucking hate them with a passion too which makes our record there even more depressing.

Diffenernce is Liverpool players and the fans believe they will win, as in our players walk out to the "never walk alone" and panic takes over! As in the scum go there and there fans think they will fluke a result.
 
Never been there with Pep as City manager before.
Let's hope for a positive result but it won't be easy.
High tempo, tight in defence & clinical up front.

I agree,i think we'll score but our dodgy back four won't handle their pace
 
We dismantled Barcelona , we should be OK for this. We struggle against teams that sit back and hit us on the counter. Liverpool will try and outplay us and for that reason I reckon it will be 2-1or 3-1 to us. Stoke missed many chances against them.

Every team will have an off "half" now and again but you can bet your mortgage when it comes to us they will approach this game with an incredible hunger and desire. An early goal within 15 mins and its over and out, it'll be Leicester all over again but much worse but......if we can somehow hang in there till half time without conceding it'll give the lads some confidence.

Liverpool will let us have the ball and hit us on the break.
 
Pep must instill a strong mentality and that we have to meet fire with fire. Let them hound us and it'll be one way traffic all game. Its essential we get a foothold in the game at some stage.
