Ive got a feeling we will win this as everyone seems to be writing there headlines already about a Liverpool drubbing for us but watching City in the Mansour years its usually when we are underated that we get a good result so fingers crossed for that, same intensity as Arsenal and i can see the 3 points coming home

We know what we've got, good, bad and ok. We also know what they've got & we've got better players we now have to play like the better team.

Nows the time to circle the wagons & put in a 95 minute performance that will make our hair stand up with pride. If we play shit and act shit we probably won't win. If we do our job we can win.

Pride in Battle City !!

Btw.....RIP THE HYSEL 39.....erased from the river rats proud 'istree. Dirty robbing, murdering wankers.......and get me going on Hillsborough.

CTID.

Fernandinho is the most complete player at our club and in the division.

Any dipper who thinks he's slow / shit is deluded to levels beyond that usually reserved for even their biggest bellends.

Love Dinho and he is hugely important to us but he's not a more complete player than Yaya; which is why Yaya is a genuine contender for City's greatest ever player and Dinho never will be.

Carragher , Fowler , Murphy , Houghton , Rush , Collymore , Thompson, Souness , Redknapp , Lawrenson . Owen , Aldridge , McManaman , Barnes (will Hansen is coming out of retirement for this one) , will all be backing their beloved Dippers and will be all over the media in the next 24 hours . Where as we will the Nevilles , Ferdinand , Savage , Scholes , Keane and Wilkins fighting our corner , to add a little balance. If the game was decided by ex players waffling their bullshit we would'nt have a chance , thankfully we have one of the most innovative coaches in the world with more knowledge than all these pundits put together , 3-2 win for us.

The problem is the dippers whilst being nothing to write home about, always raise their game against us for some unfathomable reason. It's not like we've been arch rivals for the past 30 years. But for whatever reason, they seem to treat it like a cup final.

Hopefully we will go into the game with similar attitude and if we do, we can take the points.

I get the feeling that Pep has been prioritising this game for some time. Our performance vs Hull screamed out "just do enough and get outta town" just as the Watford match did.

At the start of the season this was the match I wanted to win over all others and nothing has changed.
We will give them one hell of a game and I will be very disappointed if we lose it.

I'm a Liverpool fan and i can quite honestly say i haven't been as confident about beating city for a long time, we're better than you all over the pitch

I like noli a lot but he is not the greatest at keeping the ball,i wonder which way pep will go
Neither of Navas or Nolito will be in the starting 11, it'll be Kev or Silva out left, with Sergio being back up top.

'Er ....we BEAT them in the cup final !!!

Really? Who have you got better than De Bruyne - Lallana? Aguero - Origi or Sturridge? No mate, don't think so. But results suggest you're better by 1 place and 1 point in the League so far I suppose.

You'd be right to be confident given our dismal record at your place. Still, it'll hurt all the more if you get dicked.

It's not just the Dippers, lots of clubs had their 'game of the season' against us in Pellegrinis last two seasons because we were so easy to play against as a team, being tactically naive with a general overall lack of effort relying instead on individuals to win us games.
There have been improvements under Pep but there's still a long way to go - Leicester being the prime example.

Right now lallana is out performing de bruyne and aguero is a shadow of the player he was
That's so bullshit I can't even bring myself to laugh. Aguero has 16 goals in all competitions this season and Lallana may be scoring a few recently but De Bruyne is on a level beyond anyone Liverpool has had since Suarez. Without Matip your defence is even worse than ours and Wijnaldum isn't fit to lick the boots of Touré. Henderson has been vastly improved this season but he's still no Fernandinho, and although you have a very impressive front three the loss of Coutinho makes it considerably less dangerous. Silva is one of the most intelligent footballers in the world and Aguero is better than Origi and Sturridge combined. Bravo is an experienced and unique player while Karius seems to be a huge fucking mistake, but he isn't even as bad as Simon Mingolet who practically handed Fernandinho a goal at Wembley last season. The only players from your best XI I'd want in ours are Matip and Coutinho.

I will say that allowing Milner to leave for free was one of the biggest mistakes City have made for years. But I don't think there's a hope in hell you could outplay Barcelona- and no, the friendly does not count. Not to mention that Klopp's had eight months more than Pep and yet is still in charge of one of the most inconsistent sides outside of Milan.

Maybe City will win, maybe they'll lose, but you'd do well to be a bit less arrogant and remember that we've never so much as conceded away to Bournemouth, unlike some people. Your confidence reminds me of that displayed by United fans, Arsenal fans, Barcelona fans, all before City completely fucked them and left them embarrassed. Speaking of embarrassing, what were that team called that went 3-0 up in a crucial title-race game and then fucked it up? Kidney-something-or-other. Now that was embarrassing.
