Klopp and the home crowd will have Liverpool incredibly fired up and they'll be running like maniacs for the first 25 minutes or so. I wouldn't even try to go toe-to-toe with them on this. We should be smart, try to get the ball and keep it constantly moving without risking pushing too many men forward. Frustrate them and let them knacker themselves out and take the sting out of the crowd in the first half. Invite them onto us somewhat and i'd fancy our front four against their defence all day long if we can hit them occasionally on the break, especially with Sterling and Aguero's pace and one-on-one abilities. But mostly if we can get to half time without conceding, their intensity will drop after the 60 minute mark and this is where we can throw off the shackles, go at them and win the game.

I think you're right here we need to keep it tight first twenty minutes, play on the counter and quieten the crowd. We must match their intensity though.

I want us to win this one so bad, probably even more so than winning against the Rags.

I've just watched Football Focus on the BBC, angry disgust doesn't come close to describing my feelings after watching that Liverpool love in (I really shouldn't let it get to me). Clearly the BBC don't think even a veneer of impartiality is required, I'm used to it by now but even I was shocked with how brazen it was today.

A complete disgrace. First gushing about all things Liverpool, then 2 minutes about City, including a cake joke.

It's time to boycott this crap.

We should be used to it really and it's not likely to change anytime soon.

The Dipper/Rag fuckwits have to be fed and there are so many of them too - so five loaves and two fishes aren't going to be enough , so BBC go full out with a feeding frenzy !

Are you even remotely surprised?

I has the sound off. Noticed king Kenny being interviewed in his MacDonald's jacket - has he won employee of the month or something?

The off button is looking more attractive , but it is time these cnuts were seriously called to account .

Not holding my breath .........................

The Liverpool/City game is head and shoulders the fixture of the day, where was the coverage the game deserved, the analysis? Arguably this game is pivotal in deciding whether Chelsea will be challenged not just for the top spot but the title itself, but no, we got what we got. Today I expected something different, surely the game would be treated with some seriousness? But no, we got the lowest common denominator, a Liverpool wankfest. I suppose we should be grateful we were spared Lawrenson's take on Bravo, references to Joe Hart and sly digs at Pep for being the fraud he is, exposed by the "toughest league in the world".

As a City fan I don't think we'll win the league this season, but I hope we do just to stick it to likes of Lawrenson and all the other fucking dinosaurs at the BBC.

I'm sad to say I was, in the fetid world of football punditry everything is "massive", but this is one of those rare games where the word massive would not be misplaced. The game deserved better, much better. When the importance of a match like this is still insufficient to counter the usual bias, it exposes just how deep and ingrained that bias is.

Those who still thinks City gets a fair crack of the whip by the media and considers those who bang on about bias to be deluded, need look no further to realise how wrong they are.

On my way to dipperland got a new years do over there tonight , four of us blues will be infiltrating a local boozer early doors to watch the match , looking forward to a bit of light hearted banter , do the Dippers still carry stanley knives ?

I cant stick the cnuts.

Self entitled, two faced fucking river rat vermin. I wouldn't spit on the cnuts if they were on fire.

It's not a football club. It's a mafia. Going to the game for these twats is like to going to fucking church.

It's been too long since 2004. We owe them tonight.
Exactly why I hate them as well! This pumped me the fuck up!!! Come on cityyyyy!!!

Genuinely don't know how I'd set up going into this one. I think a 3-6-1 would be ideal but we haven't got the players that suit that shape at the moment, so maybe the best option is to go 4-3-3 and fight fire with fire.

Bravo
