This is the type of signing I would expect us to make a few years ago. Just a really expensive short term fix. We have evolved as a club.

Signing him on probably a 5 year contract on large wages is not a good move. Buying him and selling Aguero would be going backwards IMO.

Griezmann would be a much better buy at a similar price.

Definitely. I would prefer we don't go after a forward at all. Defense needs to be the priority this summer.

Will be a lot more than £70m though, given Juve sold Pogba for higher than that and attackers are generally more expensive.

I'd have thought he'd have a few years left yet before losing his pace as long as he doesn't pick up too many injuries. Admittedly it might mean his sell on value wouldn't be great but if he can tear defences apart with his pace and finishing for three years and it gets us a title or two, who gives a shit?
