Premier League Games 30/31st,1/2/3/4th

Spurs play a back 3 with fast aggresive full backs who can get back in position quickly ro make a back 5. Rose and walker are born for that role. Impressed with spurs tonight.

Playing well Spurs at the minute. 3 good wins on the bounce. Pity they bent over for the rags but other than that they look a threat. Least it keeps everyone interested. Chelsea have Arsenal and Liverpool in next four too

Absolutely but the form Spurs are in I wouldn't hold out much hope, that's not even anything about city they just look brilliant at the moment
Agree, but football can turn around very quickly the one thing that gives me a bit of hope is,for how poor we have been in games at times,we are still level on points with Spurs and 7 behind Chelsea after their run which equalled the record in premier league for wins in a row..

It's hope all right but I just don't think we have what it takes to win the amount of games needed which involves having to beat Chelsea and Arsenal away and Liverpool and Spurs at home. Jesus might wipe the floor with them single handedley!

That was a very good result for us. Chelsea needed knocking out of their stride, it is impossible to catch a team that wins every game. Spurs are a top 6 side that won't win the league but will beat fellow title contenders, the league has opened up, Chelsea have Liverpool and arsenal coming up soon. The key now is how they react to this defeat, if (as I suspect) they lose their mojo then this title is ours for the taking. However, if they dust themselves down and go on a similar run we need to have a go at cpl and plan for next season's title.

I can't see us winning it, but the result tightens everything up, you say Chelse have Liverpool and Arsenal to come soon, well we have Everton A, and Spurs H as our next 2, we could be out of it altogether if we don't take 6 points. Its a good result for everyone but Chelsea, but we need to get our own house in order before we start worrying what everyone else does.

Spurs will go on a run of draws one Alli or Kane get injured, or if Alderwield does.
Once we click and there's been signs, Arsenal 2nd half, Chelsea 1st 60 minutes. We've just won 4 out of 5 playing badly according to everyone, god help them all once it 'clicks'.

I think we get the point. You regularly diss our squad, regularly diss our tactics, regularly diss our manager, and regularly praise the opposition to the hilt (despite there being very little difference in the league positions between us and those teams that you fawn). Why do you even support us as it seems to bring you so much misery?

I hope your New Year becomes happier on here than your pre-Christmas has ;-)

Remember - if not for that shit referee in the Chelsea game, we would be one point behind Chelsea in second place.

Despite missing our best defender, despite missing our best striker and best midfielder through red cards for several games each, despite games we threw away carelessly (missing two pens or careless back passes, dropped two points each)

And against a Chelsea seemingly playing at their best, no injuries or players missing, no CL games.

The refs aren't going to get any better but we definitely can, and we will destroy these jokers if we get anywhere close to potential.
