Not sure why the club have to go to these lengths with regards a first interview and any pics? I get they want to shield him a bit but us city fans are excited about him being here and want to hear and see from the boy himself!?

I'm sure it's not by design or by choice. But if there is a blip in the TMS and it isn't ironed out, they can't exactly present him as a City player if he isn't one yet.

May be way off here,but my thoughts are that after the last couple of weeks with the press blowing everything out of proportion,IE..city being years behind the Rags,Pep saying he's ready to retire,blah,blah,blah.
