Sagna fined 40K for social media post.

Doesn't matter, we could still release a statement calling Mason a cheating **** and firstly it's unlikely he'd ever ref a City game again and secondly there's fuck all the FA or PGMOL can do about it.
Brilliant idea but how do we release a statement that would get media attention?

Surprised that Sagna apologised earlier today, as that's basically an admission of guilt. He'd have been better off claiming it was a typo.

It seems an incredibly naive, and stupid, thing to do.

As you say,he has basically admitted it and,by doing so,has given them the opportunity to punish him.Even more baffling is the presumption the club have supported his decision.

If he hadn't apologised , fa would've been exposed as guilty conscience because of their reaction and assuming
he meant the ref not the fans.

Not sure how it could ever have been construed as meaning the fans, unless you think he was referring to the Burnley supporters?

He was a bit naïve posting his comments but the vendetta by the FA et al against Manchester City has plummeted to even lower depths of the sewer especially if he gets banned.
