City fined £35,000 for anti-doping admin error

They really have it in for us at the moment, it's bordering on bullying now.

It will be because we stayed in Europe to train after a couple of the CL group games, and didn't tell the FA. That's my hunch / guess.

We decided to stay in Glasgow remember... last minute decision, then straight to Lond

when you think of the number of rags who must work for us, surprised it doesn't happen more often with more serious consequences.

I had to go over to the swamp for a business seminar, my boss knew I supported City and thought it was funny, got chatting to some of the catering staff, turns out most of them are blues, I urged them to piss in the soup and I ordered the salad.

If it's true that it's the third time it's happened then it's pretty shoddy from the club.

its there last dig and are all hoping the club and owners will buckle before the empire is fully built

this season the amount of stuff been aim at manchester city is shocking to a point that its now so easy to see what they are trying to do. the pressure from all parts media premier league FA uefa just about every tom dick and harry have had a pop i just hope the clubs can stand strong

Just seen the BBC world news reporting on it and showing the old badge for some reason, well I think we all know the reason why.

Surely we have enough administration staff to ensure this does not happen, somebody needs the boot.

Do you think all clubs are treated the same by the FA and by the referees?

By the refs absolutely not, the fa I haven't a clue, I am yet to hear a reason for this dastardly deal. I had 20 years of every rag tosser claiming the world was against them, the fa, the media, the refs. Did we not have Bernstein at the fa? Must have been his doing.I just thought the rag muppets were utterly deluded because that's what happens when severe bias sets in, go figure.

Exactly. The FA knew exactly what they were doing. And they did it to maximum effect.

I would expect the club to release a statement tonight highlighting it is an admin error. It's probably for something along the lines of City not stating that training had been cancelled one day. Playing this out in public is spiteful.

Maybe someone should put in an FOI request to find out which individual(s) made the decision to publish the charge and who signed-off the statement.

Edit: just found out they are exempt from FOI Act.
City will take it all as usual, no fucking spine this club.
Looks like I'll be pulling out of the FA cup scheme next as well as the champions league, be nothing left soon .

Yes

We changed our training times and never told the fa, so if the doping team, turned up we might not have been about.

Much ado about nothing
That's a two year ban in Athletics if you do it three times in a calender year.

The FA say they couldn't find Aguero, we've replied "neither can Navas".
