Issue between the FA and Palmeires you bunch of brats, it will get done.

It's bullshit and people are excited. The one poster mentioned his kids wanted to get a G. Jesus shirt with their X-mas money. People are excited. No updates or clarifications either. If there's a time to whine I think now is a fair time.

Might be a daft question but if he's not registered by 31st Jan do we have to wait until the summer?

Just maybe there are legal ramifications if the club says anything -

Maybe. it's all speculation. I'm not going to get worked up on it as I'm american and I only have 7 years following City/Football so I'm not fully up to date on things like this. The idea of a 30m transfer being hung up on a paperwork snafu after 5 months is really bizarre though. I'm sure you're correct though about the ramifications.

One player who won't be playing this weekend is Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazilian arrived at the Etihad this month from Palmeiras, five months after City signed him for £27m in August.

But Pep Guardiola says the 19-year-old can't stay because he has not been registered in time to make his City debut.

However, the winger is expected to be available for the game against Tottenham on 21 January.

My guess it's the multiple owner malarkey that is causing all of the problems. We don't want that issue to hit us in the face.

Ridiculous situation. Can understand if we had signed him in January but we bought him in the summer. That's given us 6 whole months to sort the registration out

City's admin team were unable to answer what the issue was

We sign him 6 months ago, he arrives in Manchester & it looks as though he's been totally ignored by the club ever since. It doesn't matter whether it's planned or not, it still does not reflect well on us.
Ignored by the club lol,we can't present him till the admin is done and that's it

Didn't Pep originally say he would need a month with us to get up to speed and ready to play? If so, then why does it matter if he's not registered yet?

Given all the issues we have had with the FA this year the club are going to make sure all the paperwork is 100% several times over I would think. We don't want a third party ownership issue as the FA would really go to town on us. As long as it's sorted by the end of the month the that is fine by me. Until that paperwork is sorted it is likely we are not in a position to unveil him as he isn't officially our player until that is resolved

Because it makes us look like a joke. Who cares I hear you say, but I care and millions of potential new City supporters care. We want our image to be one of total professionalism, not that of a bunch of incompetent muppets.

What I was trying to put aćross was, from the outside, it looks as though he has been left out in the cold by the club. Together with the anti-doping debacle, it hasn't been a good week for our officials

Everyone wants to see him and are not being very patient,we had a loan agreement with Palmeries and probably don't have the right paperwork to cancel that and register him him,it matters not when we actually brought him as he has to be registered over here and i'm guessing he can't be registered in 2 places at once.Blues are putting a hell of lot expectation on him and it's too much, they did the same with raz, nacho and john and young players are going to be hit and miss for a while

I think that went out of the window a long time ago
