Khaldoon has spoken what more do you wantAnd so they should. The club employs a PR department that is conspicuous by its silence.

Why is it? it's a legal thing as far as I can see, and anybody I've met today, not a city fans, are hardly aware of who he is, let alone remotely interested in whether his Registration has come through. From a PR view it's only on bluemoon anyone is making a big deal over it. Might not even be anything to do with our end, probably not.OK, very interesting but what are the practical implications?
And, while I'm not flapping because I didn't expect him to be playing yet, this is a piss-poor PR effort from a so-called super-club.

As I didn't expect him to play until February I'm not worried.

Any examples? <of where the press print libellous lies about us>
Khaldoon Al Mubarak on Gabriel Jesus: "He's an incredible talent. When we first started looking at him about a year ago, he was unknown."Has he?
And see my shitstains? No thanks. Are you serious? Open a newspaper!
If they dont know exactly how long the paperwork will take, what do you want them to say ? Have a guess and watch the panic when the guess isn't right. Better just wait until they know intead of looking amateurish by keep giving dates and seeing them pass.Neither am I worried but it's a PR department's job not to leave everyone guessing.

Not much a PR department can do if they are waiting on Brazil or FIFA or third parties.

Khaldoon on Gabriel Jesus: "We have a lot of aspirations for him, but we have to be patient. He's 19 and there's still time to adjust."
Khaldoon on Jesus: "He's very young, Brazilian, going to Europe and the PL and we're very conscious not to put too much pressure on him."
I posted it this afternoon
And see my shitstains? No thanks.
People acting like kids at Christmas ;)
Stop flapping and hey we might even see him come Easter.
Who cares?
It isn't as though we're battling relegation or something.
We have a decent squad as it is.
The club are not going to give updates on a transfer, they never do and rightly so,we announced him in august and it's just paperwork from brazil we are missingI saw that, Karen, but it doesn't address the current situation.
I would say they have managed expectations, letting people know its a long term signing are there is no urgency to rush him into anything, and to let him settle. The legal stuff will sort itself out in it's own time.Well I don't know where you've worked but the job of a PR department is to manage expectations, sometimes even put a spin on things, but never to cringe below the parapet.
