Says a fucking Herbert content with getting slapped off Everton and Leicester?
We get it mate, your point has been made, you are upset and you blame Pep. Your repetitious, man-on-a-soapbox posts directed at the ether every 30 minutes aren't changing minds, they're just padding the thread page count at this point.

I was doing the same earlier, just from the other direction. I eventually realised I needed to give it a rest, too.

Pep has that 'I'm gonna quit' look about him. I really wouldn't be surprised.

If he did, his reputation would be seriously tarnished and I think he's too proud for that. The one doubt people had before his appointment was whether he could sing sweetly in a less gilded cage. If he flies away now, they will have their answer.

That said, life at City will go in with or without him.

Exactly, Bravo looks to be just an average GK, and its time to give Caballero a chance. The first mistake Guardiola made was letting Hart go, it's plain to see, and he's stubbornly sticking to his mistake instead of doing what's best for the team. Guardiola needs more time to instill his philosophy but blimey, it looks like he needs to replace majority of the team to do that.

And, wtf is going on with the free kicks? Has everyone forgotten how to take a shot at goal instead of these one-two pass/cross that come to nothing. Yaya should be given the free-kick duties, period. I honestly have doubts on everyone else on whether they know how to take a proper free-kick...
A free kick in some places is almost a pen for Yaya. Why does he hardly take any now ?

Not arsed mate really , I think it's wank , you think it's great , not a lot of difference to be honest.

You keep banging the Pep drum - not sure if he can fucking here it though .

6 hours later and it's still depressing. ....

I feel we are in for a lot more depressing afternoons like today. He can change the keeper but the best one we have is away on loan. Unless we suddenly buy 4 world class defenders we are stuck with the ones we have...slow, confidence shot and weak. Lightweight in midfield and up front with too many soft arses and no leaders. Aside from the keeper and the manager we were saying the same things last season, nothing has changed.

I think we're both banging drums mate, I'm just trying to bang the slightly less self-destructive one.

Fair do's mate, I'm sorry but that was absolutely garbage today- Pep staring at the floor, Kev or Sterling not scored out of open play for weeks in the league-or Sergio.

Not really arsed anymore mate to be honest -I find it more funny than serious these days.

The trouble these days is it's all about instant success, the GPC took time to start the corrupt legend he has left. Klopp did not do that much first year, poch, at Spurs took time.

I think we need to be patient. Pep did not inherit a successful squad, ageing players, not his team, perhaps Pellegrini should be criticised more.

I hate these drubbings as much as anybody but give the guy some windows to improve squad. All on here know what is needed, so am sure city management do. :-)

And start now if its left till summer that gives us another year of settling leaving Pep just one serious shot at trophies assuming he doesn't extend
I know it's a bit crazy but we are free from relegation now so maybe (in complete hindsight obviously) what we should have done leading up to know was set ourselves up for an exodus this January window. Then we'd have 1 year from now to prepare to get close to 40 points next season but with a new youthful team. From there then we could strengthen if required to push on that season and be in a position the following year to really dominate.

That said if we had the benefit of hindsight we could have replaced our fullbacks as we all stated was obvious over the past 2 seasons, bought 2 solid CMs to help hold everything together and get a striker to breath life into the attack. :-)

As it is our squad is unbalanced and I have no idea what type of tactics we hope to employ (other than the one that has been proven over and over not to be capable of breaking down half decent defenses).

Lets not lose perspective though...no one is dead, it's just a game and we'll all be tuned in whether it turns out good or bad. :-) It'd just be nicer to be enjoyable to watch.

my god that defeat bloody hurts. That 2nd half was as weak and feeble a city display that i can care to remember if im honest, since maybe the wigan cup final match? leicester wasnt great but at least we put up a bit of a fight in the 2nd half.

we have a lot of issues dont we. all have been mentioned countless times today, lack of leadership, desire, an ageing squad, silly mistakes, too lightweight, not putting chances away, basic errors etc etc....

what i cant understand is that in patches this season we have been superb, but then we put in a half like that today?? we go from sublime to shite. why?
and why does every team score with their first decent chance? fuck me its amazing how often it happens to us!

im hoping pep will find the answer. he should get the time to get his players in and then be judged properly i feel.
we know we needed some new players and we needed to get rid of some (we've been saying it for around 2years now) so thats not entirely peps fault.

i feel we are at a crossroads over the next few transfer windows, we need to buy well and get the squad in order, otherwise we may have some more painful times ahead.
im slightly worried but not panicking yet.

anyway, wheres my cat gone, i feel the urge to kick something again.

I don't know what is worse, bonkers results (like today's one or against Leicester, or relentless media campaign that's been gradually turning our own supporters against Pep. He is still doing what he was supposed to bring on coming to us: high percentages possession football, total game control football, tactics adjustments for every game,...,all those things that shows on our stats game in, game out. Possession in opponent's side, number of shots, corners, pass interceptions..., look at those figures, which are not the empty ones ,as a mob from BBC, BT, Skysport, TalkSport,.., wants you to believe. Look at today's game figures, they are all translated into very good positional movements and a beautiful pass to Raheem, then another, even better one, to Raheem again, then another one to David, then another one to Sergio and so on. And that is when things start falling one apart. Because, Raheem is not a very good finisher, David is no finisher at all; and I don't think even Sergio knows what kind of finisher he is right now. The same goes for our defensive side. It would help itself extremely by simply not passing the ball to opposition middle field players, when our whole team is in the attacking transition. Things will definitely improve, Jesus is coming anyway. And watching high quality streams in Latvian, or Swedish helps a lot....

I am definitely frustrated, as well. I just think Pep will steady and right the ship.

May take more time than many would like, though.

Time to look for Agueros replacement, the last few games he is either not fit or has no interest. Just my opinion, I know he's been, and is a City legend but he doesn't seem to be the same player.

Not sure mate he really wants the hastle of it - his football is boring to watch - pass to Stones - pass to Bravo blah blah fucking blah.

Everton scored 4 today- who was the most entertained? Us with our 70% of boring passing shit or them slamming 4 in?

You can bet Soriano or Txiki weren't there tonight watching that shit- and they're our "future".
