On a completely unrelated note and definitely nothing to do with trying to influence anything that happens today, did you know that the furthest sniper kill recorded was from of 2,474 metres (8,120 ft, or 1.54 miles). Makes you think *cough cough*
 
Having lived in Michigan for a short while in the 1990s I just hope that he can deliver at least some of his promises to the people in the rust belt states. Nobody else seems to give a shit about them.

He's a bit of a c*** but that's not necessarily a bad thing in a POTUS. He'll have to deal with some real bad bastards around the world and the last thing the world needs is a nice guy sat in the Oval Office. By all accounts Jimmy Carter is as nice a guy as you could wish to meet. He was also a shit President.

TTIP is dead, he hates multi national organisations like the EU and he's promised a trade deal with the UK. Whether he delivers or not he's certainly strengthened our position in the Brexit negotiations. He isn't trying to re fight the Cold War like Hillary would have done and views the Russians as a potential ally against Islamic terrorism which to me, at least, is commonsense.

He may turn out to be a disaster or he may turn out to be a huge success like the often ridiculed Reagan, only time will tell but I'm optimistic.

I wish him well and yes, for the record, if I was American I would have voted for him.

Reagan was far from a huge success. He was the first president to be a complete puppet for big business. He decimated their political system for the gains of the banks.

In todays world ? No.. People are bored with politicians with there boring policies, they want ''change'' without having to know how they go about that, Donald Trump is perfect - simple politics for simple people, be a celebrity, blame immigrants and promise to build a wall and millions of tosspot rednecks will lap it up.
