Irrespective of the circumstances? Not pointing this at you but some are already on his case if he concedes today.

Yeah I know what you mean. The problem is when you replace someone who was a good shot stopper with someone who can't stop a shot he's there to be shot at

I keep thinking that he will have an exceptional match at some point so we can see what he is capable of.

Today is as good as any :)

We just can't carry on with a goalkeeper who never makes saves. If Willy is not the answer then it's time to buy another keeper.

I agree. Again, it's hard to criticise him specifically for any of the goals today, but he still hasn't done anything to suggest he's a world class keeper. Having said that, I did think Loris was the best keeper in the league, and even he had a cock up today.

You could argue we could of scored more and took some pressure off our defensive unit but I didn't think he was bad at all (the same could be said with all of them)

And people on here say Lloris is a great goalie.

Our usual scapegoats Bravo and Kolarov were the only two decent ones in a very fragile defence who, except for Kolarov, offered nowt in building up and when having the ball at their feet.

He doesn't seem to get anywhere near any shots which aren't straight at him. For the first one, he gets caught in no man's land, he either needed to stay on his line or come for the cross and he did neither. He was nowhere near the ball or the player. He may as well have not been on the pitch.

For the second he is flat-footed as usual. It was not going that quickly and could have been saved if he had reacted quicker.

It must be a hell of a boost for the opposition when they see he's on our team sheet. Yes he's decent with the ball at his feet but surely we must be able to find a keeper who is acceptable at both aspects of the game.

This guy is costing us points on a weekly basis. I can't believe that the manager can't see it.

Did anyone watch him at Barcelona? Surely he can't have been this bad at shot stopping? Here's a video of his highlights from last season (you have to skip a bit to get past him pissing about with the ball):

None of the saves are particularly great tbh.

This is spot on.

Though they weren't particularly his fault today, he again failed to prove anything.

Jagielka's a better keeper ffs
