The post where mcfc49 is suggesting that supporters who are backing Bravo aren't City fans.
Mate, ignore him and the others. Those that are calling him a clown etc are the ones who should be questioned. They use all sorts of exaggerated and made up nonsense to try and convince others he is useless. Not one has offered any rational argument other than Stats which, are at best benign.

I am trying mate. We bought in a keeper who should be in tune with what Guardiola expects as a keeper. The defensive side of the game hasn't fully worked out just yet but by next season everybody concerned should know what is to be expected of them.

The funny thing is, these same posters now hitting us with stats weren't interested in Bravo's stats earlier in the season.

Sadly for many the narrative was set when Paul Merson started ranting about preferring keepers who were good with their hands back in September.

He's a deranged piss head granted, but I'd hazard a guess that if you asked football supporters what they preferred their goalkeeper to be more skilled with, the answer would 100% be their hands every time otherwise the position would mean fuck all.

And the narrative has been slowly set in after uninspiring performance after another.

For an average English Premier League club supporter then yes Bravo seems to be an uninspiring choice. Pepe Reina could have something to say about that though (another similar style keeper).

letting 28 goals in twice as many as lloris and Courtois is an indisputable fact mossside.

Lloris made two errors Saturday that Bravo hasn't made in his time here. That's a fact.

Goals conceded is a team effort. If you think clean sheets are all about keepers, perhaps stick to stats and computer games.

I'd agree that, but Bravo has an exceptional career behind him and his handling is actually excellent.
He's been written off far too early and unfairly.
He's not even been solely at fault for a PL goal yet.

don't play computer games mate do you think bravo would have saved that shot that lloris saved from silva in the bottom corner? like ive said that is a lot of aggression and insults from the bravo lovers in this thread. of course defending is a team effort. Never bravos fault can you tell me some good saves bravo has made this season. the only saves he has made are bread and butter ones

The two mistakes highlighted in the video we won both games. The second video is debatable whether it was a foul on the keeper. As schfc6 pointed out the first one was a collective error (Bravo's City debut)

No idea whether he'd have saved it or not. Nor do you. He's only been beat twice though from outside the box, that was an unopposed shot curling away from him into the top corner. The other an unsavable volley through a crowd.
What I do know, he's not commited any fuck ups to the Lloris degree in the league thus far.

Doesn't mean they aren't mistakes...Done his best to let United back into that game but they couldn't finish the chances Bravo was serving up..And the Burnley one meant we were under the cosh for 20mins with 10 men.

that's because he never gets near enough to a shot at his goal. he has been at fault for loads of goals this season. palace away when he tried to save with his leg instead of his hands. two at everton away. 2 for Chelsea at home. 2 for Leicester away. that's just off the top of my head. no not one of the 28 premier league goals have been his fault. give your head a wobble

Has he made any good saves like Lloris does though?

What about his save at the end of the Burnley game? You might not be enamoured with it but it was a save that needed to be made.

he did make a good save with his hands at Barcelona away unfortunately he was halfway to the halfway line.
