What's the criteria for games being televised ?

Our game isn't being televised despite it being between two premier league teams, yet Chelsea and Spurs are playing lower league opposition and their games are on tv. Same with Brighton against who the hell knows.

Every Rag game is televised from pre season against Thailand Ladyboy 11 to everyone else.

So, again I pose the question and would like to know whose decision it is.

Pisses me off living overseas and not being able to watch.

There's nothing in it, really. It's down to getting the most tv figures. Rags have glory fans all over the country, so they'll always bring in the viewers. Premier League vs. lower league opposition will bring in more neutral fans.

Well seeing we were the top earners from "live" tv games last season in all competitons,then we can hardly bitch about it now.

650m fans is utter lies by that scum if a club! City should should just do the same and say we have 400m fans worldwide.

From what I read we were supposed to be televised, but Palace didn't want to be as it'd give them less time to prepare for the match against Bournemouth (didn't realise they had a choice until I read this..) - and United weren't going to be, but because Palace pulled out the United game replaced ours.

Nothing wrong with some of those fixtures. Brighton play at Lincoln (one of 2 non-league clubs to make it to the 4th round) and part of people's whinges are that these often get dropped. Not to mention Lincoln have paid off their outstanding debts about 3 years ahead of schedule in huge part to the FA cup run and their recent Televised fixtures, why begrudge it to them?

United is the only agenda they have, showing them every single time.

The Utd game is a shocker of a choice. Wigan are rubbish and stand no chance in this. Fair enough if they were some lower league team that never faces top level opposition but we've all seen enough of Wigan over the last 10 years to last a lifetime. This will be a routine and boring home win. Why this and not something like Middlesborogh v Accrinton Stanley - that is proper fa cup tie.

Even so, the amount of games they've been on in a row those £145k's are beginning to add up.

There are 16 games and fat sam resting a few would make a dire contest. It would be better if no games were televised so we could get rid of the plastics.

Chelsea are not on here even though it's a local derby, and weren't on last round either.
Spurs aren't on either.

The problem isnt the fact we arent on uk tv, but the only channel we are on in the whole world is supersport 2 in bloody kosovo ffs! No other country in the world wants our game?
