As much as I love Alvarez I think this is a good deal for the player and the club. I don’t think a (bought) replacement is needed either.

We might not want to pay his release clause, A slightly higher fee paid over a number of years would help with PSR. I’m also thinking he be a perfect replacement for Bernardo should he move on.
