    All things Jack Grealish

More likely it will move on to squabbling over who is to blame for Grealish becoming an Everton player. The City Data Analyst boys are probably going to cop the flack for not ‘feeling the vibes’. If the move is confirmed I hope it works out for Jack. We’ll always have that image of him...

    All things Jack Grealish

I don’t see Grealish returning to City. His time here has passed and it isn’t coming back. City must have had good reasons as to why he saw less and less playing time and finally went on loan to Everton. Those reasons will not have disappeared irrespective of who is manager.

    Enzo Maresca

No, all the major AI programs are working overtime helping my wife design our new kitchen. They’re on the verge of forming a union and threatening to work to rule. Poor bastards have no capacity left for anything else.

Manchester Airport police assault trial | Man found guilty of assaulting two female police officers | Both defendants cleared of assaulting third PC

No, I don’t think the police started it. I’m just saying I wasn’t there, neither were you and we didn’t hear all the evidence presented, so my opinion is just that - an opinion based on a video. Tearing up the trial by jury system because you don’t like a verdict is dumb. It ain’t perfect...

Manchester Airport police assault trial | Man found guilty of assaulting two female police officers | Both defendants cleared of assaulting third PC

In my one and only time on the jury I was impressed by the level of attention and seriousness the jurors gave to the matter. That said, it resulted in a majority verdict. I and one other voted guilty and the rest not guilty - it was actually more not proven. It was a sex abuse case and became a...

Manchester Airport police assault trial | Man found guilty of assaulting two female police officers | Both defendants cleared of assaulting third PC

The video footage was not the only evidence presented and we have no idea what the other evidence was or how it impacted the jurors thinking. They have listened to all the evidence, the testimonies, then deliberated and this is their conclusion. That you disagree with the verdict is your...

Manchester Airport police assault trial | Man found guilty of assaulting two female police officers | Both defendants cleared of assaulting third PC

Perhaps the juries decided on the basis of the evidence presented during the trials. Which is kind of the point of a trial.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Verdict is due any moment now, it’s gone from imminent to very imminent to stand by your beds, lads and lassies it’s incoming! In short, no change from every other week since the hearing wrapped up.

Pep to leave at the end of the season

Yeah, didn’t think I’d get emotional watching his farewell video, but I was wrong.

Pep to leave at the end of the season

My interpretation is that City have a timetable of events, media drops etc for his and Bernardo and Stones departure and they want to do it justice for all three. The fact that the news leaked a week early is not been allowed to derail that timetable. Also, because nothing is riding in what’s...

Pep to leave at the end of the season

If a new manager wants to take us further than Pep has taken us then they need to post a 100+ points season, win 5 PLs on the bounce, win two domestic trebles and two trebles with the CL or one quadruple. It’s a measure of what Pep has achieved that this is what is required to beat his record...

    Our season

Played better football than most. Arsenal have channelled their inner Wimbledon, Liverpool did a tribute to the Hodgson era, Utd are still garbage and just appointed a failed Championship manager, Chelsea are a basket case and broke and Spurs are still in danger of relegation with a game to go...

Pep to leave at the end of the season

Pep saying he has ‘one more year’ is technically correct, but, unfortunately, it doesn’t mean he is staying for one more year. It’s an answer given to deflect the question.

    Keir Starmer

John Major for me. A day at the cricket, nice lunch and look at some saucy snaps of Edwina Currie over a the beer.

    Keir Starmer

It’s a year on year comparison - Jan to April. The 200,000 is a clickbait garbage. Given numbers are down it’s a means to shoehorn boat crossings back into the news.
