Agree with other posters. This year's final day was dramatic and heartpounding. But 2019 was sheer agony for the final 4 months or so. Knowing one slip would cost us and the scouse shits would win it. Here we had more leeway - we could draw with West Ham (and could even have lost) and still...
Btw, forgot to mention this. Loved Arlo White's commentary on NBC - for the first goal ... "Sterling ... back post ... 2-1!" Reminded me of old Clive Tyldesley for Hinchcliffe's goal all those years ago
Not to mention, we would have won the title in a canter if Milner had been booked for 2 out of his 4 yellow card offences and VAR had not conveniently used the wrong frame to declare Sterling's winner offside.
And Real Madrid beat them comfortably despite having a perfectly good goal chalked off
Werent they complaining last week that we were wildly celebrating our title "like it was our first" . Only takeaway is they are utterly obsessed with us and our fans
That game could have gone either way. Scousers were 1-0 up for about an hour and Wolves had a few chances. Right at the end, Mane made it 2-0 with an offside goal. Fairly fitting way to end their season.
