You only have to listen to the players who have played under him react when interviewed down the years. Phrases like 'I learnt more in my time with Pep than I did in the whole of my time previously in football' crop up regularly.
This is from world class, seasoned professionals who have played...
This is exactly what I was trying to get at earlier. No one can deny Fergusons trophies won was an incredible achievement but he did change football like others.
I can't think of anything style of play wise that was groundbreaking of any of his teams.
This was discussed recently with neville...
The ending of the programme was very emotional. The decision to include Bowie's sound and vision as a musical backdrop was perfect. Two Geniuses together.
Fantastic documentary. Pep changed football, that's what sets him apart from the others. There's only a few people who you can say that about in the history of the game. It's not just about winning trophies, it's the influence on people and the way you go about playing.
I remember that game with Coton throwing a pew punches at the final whistle to a couple of pitch invaders. From what I remember one of them was having a go at Mark Ward, Coton stepped in throwing haymakers while Ward just turned around and walked off leaving him to it!

My favourite City player of all time.
Everything you want from a player, someone who does the business out on the pitch. No Bullshit, no hype, no off field nonsense.
