Think the question is who needs a rest? For me, the fullbacks, Nico G, Bernardo, Foden and Haaland. Obviously Trafford will play.
I think I'd go
Trafford, Khusanov, Dias, Gvardiol, Ake, Lewis Reijnders, Cherki, Savinho, Bobb, Mukasa.
Genuinely why?
At left-back he adds height to the side, he has space to exploit with his pace and physicality, he gets into goalscoring positions, has great delivery from out wide, his defending is improving and he can push into midfield anyway if required.
Failed offside trap, not Lewis's fault, he was holding the line.
The problem was the left side of defence, at this point there's zero chance of any defender getting back in time to catch Eze
Is there anymore entertaining pair in football than Doku and Cherki?
We might not currently be as all-conquering as we were, but being able to watch these two every week is something a bit special in itself.
Hope so!
Personally I'm worried at how reliant we are on 12-13 players. Apart from who played today he only really seems to trust Reijnders and Savinho to any real extent.
Going to need those two plus Marmoush, Bobb, RAN, Khusanov and Lewis to step it up a bit.
Thought we contrived to make them look good for the first half hour, but after we scored the whole game flipped and we bossed it.
Thought everyone played really well in the end (except Foden, sorry).
Great win!
I feel like there's a million things I'd love to do and work just gets in the way of them, therefore goal is to retire as soon as possible.
However if you like working, which is totally valid as well, then just keep doing that.
Yeah he's not lazy, he does put a lot of effort, but he quite often switches off defensively. Don't think it's laziness, just a mental thing. He also loses a lot of challenges, which isn't really a surprise given his stature. It's frustrating though because he tried to buy fouls rather than...
Getting towards halfway and it's all about keeping the gap as small as possible at the moment, tough because Arsenal are obviously very strong.
It's very unlikely they won't go through a patch of losing a few games, we need to make sure we're not out the picture by that point (something we...
