Decided against it... really not worth it today.

Planning to leave Edinburgh at 10.00 and driving down with the family but doubt I'll risk it? Decisions, decisions??

I'm not working, but getting up at six to head to the Pentland Hills (south of Edinburgh) to watch the sun rise. Did it last year and it was great... I'll catch up on missed alcohol when I get back! Hogmanay/New Year's Night is wank.

Unfortunately I most resemble Mr Bean. Had a chatty FOC on the train call be that a few weeks back@

Never done it WW but imagine it would be very doable with a bit of commitment and planning. Be prepared for anything though!

Sure am mate. Loved hill walking for a few years now but only really got into the Munros this year. Can't wait for it!

I'm staying in Kinlochewe this Saturday so may bump into you! Climbing Beinn Eighe, my first experience on Torridon and can't wait. Really keen to hire a VW Transporter and do the NC500 one day. Enjoy.

If you like the hills The Pentland Hills which frame the south of the city are an understated gem. A bus from the city centre to Flotterstone shouldn't take long and you get an amazing view of Edinburgh from the tops. I live in South Queensferry which is very popular with tourists and cruise...
