From our point of view, if this is the attitude a European rival are taking then we must be doing something right.

Amongst other things, he's pissed off that we bought De Bruyne to prevent them signing him for nothing / next-to-nothing as his contract ran down. As per normal Bayern pillaging of the transfer market in Germany.

bayern wanted him on the cheap,i'm certain but as both clubs share the same sponsor,they colluded with each other, in a desperate attempt at keeping him.
i can't find the link but it came from a wolfsburg official/ or sponsor and was on film.he said they were begging bayern to buy.

so, if you sponsor one team and your best player wants to move. it's in your interest to move him to the other team you sponsor.
