Rummenigge at it again

This is the same thing that other fans say to us, you spent 50m on full backs and its changed the whole market. When Newcastle spent 15m on Shearer, guess what? IT FUCKING CHANGED THE MARKET.

Just a daft twat who was boring a long time ago. Must be hard bad mouthing us since 2008 but then seeing the best manager in the world reject your contract offer, leave you and roll up outside our stadium.

I think this is the main reason for his loathing. There is also the knock on effect of course that, if we come along and pay realistic money for the likes of Debruyne and Sane, the likes of Wolfsburg and Shalke suddenly have the cash to tell Bayern to piss off when they come a-poaching and may even be able to compete for the league.
There is an element of upper class snobbery and resentment against "upstart" little Citeh, but it is about money:

- Getting in the way of Bayern pillaging the best of the bundesliga on the cheap

- Hurting the manure not just on field but off it. How many new "fans" are they getting now, being embarrassed by their "little" "neighbour? Being beat 6-1 at home or City playing far better football while they play hoofball is not ideal for keeping all those glory hunters.

- Msking it that much more difficult for Arsenal to win their" qualified for CL" trophy

All that means big money slipping out of their pockets. And they don't like that.

The lingering stench of racism is also strong with this one.

Hoeness and Rummenigge planned to create a new football identity with Pep steering their ship.
Little did they know he was biding his time for the City gig and that without 93:20 Pep and Bayern would not exist.

Their bitterness is fucking hilarious.
Little old citey eh.
