Almost all the points they dropped were excusable. The one and only time they fucked up (and didn't get away with it) was United away.

No team that can't beat a side that has a series of injuries before the game and then 4 injuries during the first half alone deserves a league title.

I'm just amazed that a team assembled on nothing but a love of the shirt pushed us to the last day. If we're honest, it's the true achievement this season. Congratulations Liverpool.

I read Bluemoon a lot, and I appreciate all the typically blue humour and perspective. I don't generally post; I used to go to Maine Road back in the day, and I have very fond memories of the 98/99 season. I didn't join the half million at York away, and nor, alas, did I make the playoff final, but I was there for York at home, and (possibly the turbo g point?) Stoke at home. Great days. I'm now an exile in Singapore so I have to watch City on the telly at unsociable hours.
