Khaldoon's End of Season Interview

There's an interesting line towards the end of the Daily Mail coverage of Khaldoon's comments. It says the clubs who were pushing the Premier League to investigate City for FFP (as well as UEFA) were those with American owners. That information was not in the original story in the Times which just referred to "Premier League clubs". That information leaves little doubt that Liverpool and United are the people who Khaldoon is referencing when he talks about "briefing against us." It can only be Gill and Parry or someone acting for them. The Daily Mail may have mistakenly outed one of their own sources with this paragraph.
Take a screenshot of it before they change it.

Very strong messages in there for UEFA and Tebas and other jealous PL clubs, class rises to the top, subtle hints about not accepting casual racism, very measured performance until the end when he was clearly upset and seemed to be really holding back from saying far more.

His comments about knowing what is said and breathed by whom will have all the rats running round biting at everything and everyone this is his cat amongst the pigeons watch the vermin squeal,
The BBC are trying to put words in his mouth adding all the most expensive players as if he said it, the flack towards us has been set and don't be surprised if that is what we get attacked for next
Love that he hinted racism, that's another warning for the dirty arab brigades

The Mail makes it very clear in their article who were involved.
"In March Sportsmail revealed Liverpool's chiefs were among a group of American owners in English football's top flight who pushed the Premier League to join UEFA in investigating allegations of financial cheating by Manchester City."

No prizes for guessing who the other American owners were. Liverpool have got some brass neck seeing as they failed FFP in 2013 and cheated FFP again in 2015 by offsetting £50m in 'staium development costs' against their FFP losses for the Stanley Park project that never happened. No crusading journos have picked that story up and run with it.

He said we were confident as long as the enquiry was going to be based on facts, but added a hanging proviso to the effect that what might happen if it weren’t based on facts, was in the lap of the Gods. So not quite the same as “we have nothing to fear”.
Personally I don’t think there was much in that interview of consequence, if only because he clearly wasn’t able to discuss anything specific that might relate to the UEFA enquiry. Tebas was an easy, legitimate and deserved target, but other than that, as regards off-field matters, the relaxed ambience felt a bit forced IMO. I do know I wouldn’t want to mess with him though. There was a definite steeliness there. On the field stuff, where he could be more loquacious, was good.

That was an interview of a different order - as foreshadowed by Tolmie - and follows a new tone in the club's statements regarding UEFA.

UEFA may try it on and try to ban us using some spurious reasons if the facts don't suit their plan but KAM has just told the world that is not going to wash.

KAM is a very powerful man and fries much bigger fish than City; and now it looks like he means to batter some of our opponents off the field. He's overseen the transformation of MCFC into the best run football club in the world and he is not about to let some jumped up officials spoil the party.
