The problem for City is that the c14 are desperate for us to be banned and they are pressuring UEFA to carry this out. UEFA are so in the pocket of these clubs, and are shit scared that they will break away, that they will try and make a ban stick, whether this will be upheld at CAS is a different matter. This dance between us and UEFA is going to go on for a while yet and our reputation will probably take a bit of a battering, like it already has, but I believe we will ultimately prevail. By flinging all this mud at us our reputation, whilst not in tatters, is bound to be a bit bruised in the end, this is probably what they want as a minimum Mind you Juventus did fucking cheat by fixing games and no body seems to be arsed about that now do they.

Think all clubs in England esp. City are being targeted due to the huge success of the EPL plus the massive world wide popularity. Jealousy exists in all forms and in many different classes.

C14? There is no way that any break-away competition could not include City

The issue is that the leaked documents have caused a problem for UEFA, they are damned if they don't and damned if they do investigate. The real issue is how they have gone about it, with the leaks come from within despite it being a confidential investigation and this has riled City, rightly so. Consequently City have trumed them by taking it straight to CAS. City's lawyers, three different practices, have warned the worst offending media organisations that they will not allow them to damage City's reputation any longer and City's public statement has warned the rest. CAS will eventually get around to looking at the case and almost inevitably it will be kicked-out a statement by UEFA will follow to say that the end of the matter. It will then become yesterday's chip paper

The English clubs were significant architects of FFP and a lot of the 'media scrutiny of Man City is from the UK. I don't see anyone reigning in Man Utd's quite ridiculous spending do you?

A lot of the foreign scrutiny is racist in my opinion. Tebas and the German Der Spiegel coverage was targeted at the perception of the Arab fat cats. It just feeds popular culture.

They have wage deals of up to £500k per week, and have executed transfers for £90m (Lukaku and Pogba). And then when their poor league performances see them excluded from the Champions League, and leave them with falling revenues, the Premier League changes the rules immediately, and on the quiet so that Man Utd can compete free of the Premier League wage cap

It’s the united way.

You are right, City would have to be included in any break away league. Problem for the rest Europe is, who, if anybody in this country wants it. The clubs might be interested but the fans certainly are not.
