Are you joking? Few delays on the trains, Victoria Line stopped. Fuck me. I've just left work, the sky hasn't fallen in or anything. Get a bus, get another train. You're in one of the best connected cities in the world and you're 'stranded'? If my memory serves me correctly you live in Kent right? Jesus, it's connected to London, not separated by an ocean or anything. I'm that hardcore I'd fucking walk it, personally....

Yeh. I get the Thameslink Farringdon was completely down. Got to Cannon Street. Closed.
Walked to London Bridge. Got a train eventually. All is well.
