Euro Qualifiers - Bulgaria v England halted twice due to racist fans

I thought all concerned handled last night superbly on the England side at least.

Very much over to UEFA now.
I suspect Bulgaria will cop for a big one.
It will be interesting to see how things progress as it will be some job removing racist views from Eastern Europe.

Re tonight's qualifiers, apparently its been pissing down all day in Geneva and the ref had to do a pitch inspection before the Switzerland/Ireland game could go ahead. But there's more rain forecast, and if it turns up, the game might not get finished.

Not that I’m in favour of player walk outs but I think England bottled it last night and should have left the pitch. Anyhow let’s see how little uefa can do and get away with because they frankly don’t give a fuck.

There's not really any need to walk off if the referees follow the protocols, like they did yesterday, as they only need to speak to the ref following the tannoy warning, he suspends the match himself.

Yesterday the referee was prepared to go off and the players decided to go through to half time as it was so close, then the problem largely dissipated with the removal of the organised group of fans at half time.

They probably thought the Irish are used to being piss wet through so let it go ahead.
