Greetings from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport. I’ve had two nights on my own in Turkey and am feeling content. Turks love your wallet! I attempted to head back to my hotel twice and was gently ushered in to another bar for an Efes. Forget a good price at The Grand Bazaar too. I’ve paid over the odds for a Fenerbahce scarf. They’re good natured swines in that respect.

Off to Baku for three nights now. I’m at Azerbaijan v Wales on the Saturday night.
