Pep Guardiola on @Arsenal: "We will watch the previous Arsenal games and figure out what they will do. Arsenal have a typical style of play. They have quality between the lines with Ozil and Lacazette. Arsenal away is always a test for any team."

David Silva is a 'doubt' for Arsenal.

Pep Guardiola on @PhilFoden: “He played 50 games at 19-years-old, in one of the top teams in Europe. We’re delighted with him, he had a really good game on Wednesday and he’s going to have incredible games in the future..."

“He deserves it, the way he’s trained, the way he is a person. He’s more mature all the time, he’s played a lot, maybe not 50 games at 90 minutes but he’s been involved in good moments and difficult moments. We trust him a lot.”

Gundo as an 8 it is then. :)

Thats the nice of pep saying fodens not starting this weekend :(

have either of them 2 torn anyone to pieces all season?
both have looked a crock of shit every time i've seen em
I never said Martinelli tore anybody to pieces, I said he looks like a good player and an eye for goal.
Pepe has caused teams a lot of problems but his finishing has let him down. He had a really good game at West Ham and took his goal well. First half at Anfield he was causing liverpool all sorts of problems but his finishing let him down.
He would definitely give Angelino a seriously tough day.

Congratulations to Phil for being a person.

Think for us you are probably talking about a team along the lines of

-------------------------------Leno-----------------------

Maitland Niles---Chambers-----Sokratis-----Kolasniac

---------------------Torriera----Guendouzi----------------

Pepe--------------------------Ozil----------------------Martinelli

---------------------------Aubameyang--------------------

He could mix it up & go for Chambers right back & Luiz in the middle, or even play Luiz at defensive midfield. He might also try & put Lacazette in, but this was the shape vs West Ham with personnel changes to account for injuries.

You could be actually accurate with your score prediction looking at that team.

I predict 6-1 nearly every game , usually when the John Smiths and Hennesy kicks in , turns me into an eternal optimist , really thought Emery would work out for the Gooners , you need to get back to the George Graham era , 1-0 to the Arsenal and all that , Simeone is the man
