Irritates me when I see articles on Scottish whisky spelt with an "E" Whiskey). Or even worse when Welsh, Irish, Yankee and others are spelt without "E". Not allowed!

Not according to my daughter, multitude of flavoured gins, which have to be paired with the right flavoured tonic, and then adorned by a slice of complementary (in the taste bud sense rather than the "ooh your a nice looking gin" sense) slice of fruit, Whisk(e)y on the other hand, with or without an E, as I can never remember which is which (mainly cos I don't care) is a simple drink, which suits me fine
