SSN: PL to give City points deduction?

I thought the uefa case was about deceiving them and the amounts of money involved is approx £50m

I sure I heard that the PL losses can be over £60m over 3 years

So would we be ok anyway, were they even in place between 2012 and 2016

Villa are in possible trouble as they look like they are above losing £60m
Different numbers for different things. UEFA number is over €100M.

Will we be stripped of the 2014 Title we won under pellers ?

We aren’t having any titles taken away, having any points deducted or being relegated to the Manchester Amateur Sunday League. In
Fact I’d be surprised if the PL even get involved

All this nonsense is pie in the sky stuff invented by the gutter press to get your more intellectually challenged rags and dippers buying their papers and clicking on their websites

Nobody is taking our prize collection of Thomas Cook trophies off us.

Edit with any luck uefa will go the same way as Thomas Cook

BRING IT ON!

In a historical perspective, it’s actually amusing.

City are being singled out, hounded, and being run out of town for having an owner who is providing DEBT-FREE INVESTMENT, from the ME, USA and China, in a football club in Britain.

Err, hasn’t that been the case in British Football FOREVER...for British businessmen?

What “business model” do they prefer? Massive debts that require significant commercial success to even cover their debt payments? OK..THAT sounds much better!!

What we have is a bunch of know-nothing tinkerers playing Billy Big Bollocks in football and trying to school serious business men running multi-billion Euro businesses. In their desire to not allow “OUTSIDE” businesses to be successful in their markets, they create rules that do not allow injections of money to fuel the growth necessary to compete with the established industry leaders.

Yeah...THAT’S ILLEGAL IN MOST BUSINESSES IN MOST COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD. It’s called a CARTEL.

If one steps back and looks at what has REALLY happened, it is clear that Global TV revenues have brought significant new wealth into football. In the PL, this has resulted in LITERALLY only a handful of teams being able to seriously compete for silverware every season, to the point that they can put out reserve teams and STILL win trophies. Then, as if by magic, the teams that the global audience want to see automatically get more TV revenues, get better league positions and a significantly greater portion of PL revenues, and the “big club” cycle perpetuates.

Most clubs, at least 50+% of them in the PL, see “success” as “staying up” so they keep getting their PL TV money cheques, which allows them to buy new, better players, with better pay packages. In fact, the money in the PL is so good, that the so-called “most lucrative game in football” is the THIRD PLACE PLAY-OFF GAME to get INTO the PL!! They say it’s a £100M “winner-take-all” game, because even if you are promoted and then go straight back down, the parachute payments protect the clubs finances against their supposed peers in the Championship!

Now, scale that up to the CL and the extras that come with that...3 home Euro ties and the associated commercial revenues in the Group Stages, plus larger € amounts every step of the way...and you create a “super club” elite group that receives SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES their chances for continued success over time.

In short, ANY CLUB FROM ANY COUNTRY that has little domestic competition to win their home league and/or gain CL entry stands to gain €100M PLUS additional revenues over their rivals.

If one simply looks at the “European Revenue Table” it consists SOLELY of teams in the PL who frequently get to the CL and rest are ONLY the Top 1 or 2 teams in the Top 5 European leagues. IT IS A CLOSED SHOP OF A HANDFUL OF CLUBS THAT SHARE THE BILLIONS IN EUROPEAN FOOTBALL REVENUES.

Because the door is closed to new entrants, it took such a significant investment in City to break that door down and force us into their “club.”

Now, of course, a few of those clubs (All???) don’t like sharing with us or (for the waning Euro elites) having “their” share come our way, so they’re trying to kick us out. If successful, it makes it almost impossible for us to EVER break down their door again by giving the Cartel members two additional years of NINE-FIGURE CL revenues to help them pull away from us.

That phrase, PULL AWAY, is the key to all of this nonsense. The fact that City had to generate sufficient commercial revenues just to get into this elite club was difficult enough. However, the fact that we did, even with all the manufactured roadblocks they put in our way angers many of them.

They believed they had effectively pulled away from the rest of the clubs, but when it didn’t work out as desired, they got together and, out of thin air, they created things like “UEFA COEFFICIENTS” TO HELP THE CARTEL MEMBERS. In short, they were trying to create enough distance and advantage to not allow newcomers to break their stranglehold on the billions in revenues flowing to the cartel clubs.

It is so transparently predatory, and cartel manipulation of any semblance of sporting fairness, as to be laughable...but this is what has been ALLOWED to happen by UEFA over the years to protect the cartel power

Maybe, just maybe, this decision by UEFA will highlight the malfeasance and cartel actions used to harm some clubs while rewarding others, and the artificial constraints put in GROWING CLUBS TO PROTECT THE ESTABLISHED ORDER will get blown up?

Maybe...but I won’t hold my breath, because corruption is serious business, and we wouldn’t want it to get in the way of ACTUAL INVESTMENT IN BUSINESS GROWTH, would we?!
