If ITV was to be the public service broadcaster and was funded by the public via a tax and did away with commercialisation then yes, I'd support it.

So "We should all pay for our Public Service Broadcaster Dammit" in whichever guise it is in.
And there are many, like myself, that object to that view as the concept of "public service broadcaster" is one considered to be outdated in the era of social media.
