Not a chance schools are going back anytime soon. I’m not even sure how we’ll get to a stage when it’s possible until a vaccine is available. You can’t adhere to any sort of social distancing in a school environment.

The fact that the press are choosing to ignore all the published data shouldn't mean that we do.
They are just after headlines.

I don't think we are at the peak yet,we are still a few weeks behind italy and spain

Each individual nation report their own number of deaths:

• 70 in Scotland - a rise to 366
• 33 in Wales - total is 245
• Northern Ireland's figures for today have not yet been published

Today is 19 days since the schools and pubs/bars and shops shut.

So this should be us hitting the peak. This will be the worst week, the people dying here got infected just prior to lockdown.

Awful, was hoping yesterdays figures were because of collated numbering

presume the peak is approaching within a week or so

Not necessarily,we are still letting people fly into the country including bringing our own people back from all over

we should hopefully start to see adrop in cases very soon, it does look like they are slowing down. but deaths will be trailing cases by about 2 weeks so we're at least 2 weeks from deaths slowing in my eyes.
