But you then have the same problem in August. Football needs to figure this out just like primary school children, teachers, and every single occupation.

We are all going to end the lockdown in some shape or form but some people are very anxious. I get that. Quite willing to accept I am wrong. This stuff is just argument to figure it out.

The question for the over 70’s and people with underlying health problems is are they willing to be in lock down till a vaccine?

Marvin, from your previous posts I see that you are trying to convince everyone that has an opinion that we should start up again using whatever hair brained scheme the press are touting. What is you agenda ....as whatevr they decide will not be to the integrity of the league that started so why not agree to null and void it immediately and sort out contracts, fitness, form, isolation of certain players and overall safety and look to start a new season when it makes sense ? I dont see what your agenda is to keep wanting it to start as soon as possible ?

That is the real reason some fans don't want to restart the football but they are going to given the title whichever way it goes.

Those who don't want football to start should ask themselves what they want in August when the season kicks off again. Are you going to postpone that as well? Football clubs will not survive, just like any other occupation/ industry if you just give up.

You have asked what I want so I will tell you. I want 11 players playing against 11 other players from an opposing team, a neutral ref and a capacity crowd. As soon as you start messing around, neutral grounds, no relegation, no fans, etc you are no longer playing competitive football you are playing a friendly match.
If the sole reason for playing the remaining matches is to ensure Liverpool win the league then serious questions need to be asked. I fully accept I cannot go out and socialise as it is helping to save lives, if voiding this season helps do that then I am all for it. I think we will kick off the new season in August behind closed doors but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make as a fan. The rider is that it should only be done if the players and staff are also safe. If not, the season does not start.

i think if i was in that age bracket then yes id be hanging around in the back garden,the ones are those who live in flats or high rise,TBH i couldnt do a day under that situation it must be sole destroying

If there wasn't 3000 from a seriously infected City already under lockdown it probably wasn't a large extra risk, but there was, they shouldn't have been allowed in, nobody would allow it today, and the threat is certainly smaller now.

Football can’t restart and giving them the trophy and starting to make a plain to get the next season underway and safely Is the only sensible thing to do.

They have indeed been the best side this season but they did not actually win the league and the idea of somehow awarding them it is just ludicrous.

Ha they had a ton of help,we had the opposite just to make sure,they need six points to win it,this what getting the prem back is all about,i don't give a shit about them getting the title,i care about our players and all the staff before that
