Glyn Pardoe RIP

From what I understood from Glyn and this was stated in front of some 40+ Branch Members, this did not occur, seriously.
However, the proof of the pudding ...
Thanks for finding that as I`ve never ever seen it before.
I saw on another tribute... BBC I think.

Great memories of Glyn, from his debut in April 1962. Another poster has recalled an equaliser v Blackpool in the F A cup Jan 1966. This is also how I remember it but other sources credit the goal to Johnny Crossan. I was there and am sure it was Glyn. No doubt in the replay though - we beat them 3-1 in front of 52000 just 2 days later on the Monday.None of this police bollocks of being unable to supervise a major event at such short notice in those days.

Another long serving loyal player sadly leaves us.
Modern day players should take a long hard look at what this person gave to the club with no attitude or arrogance, in a time when money played second fiddle to the passion for putting on that blue shirt and giving all for the club.
Never forgotten RIP Glyn
