Fast cars in Alderley Edge

Have you ever tried driving fast through Alderley ? I’ve lived around here all my life, it’s just a bs.

I was just thinking the same. I have never seen any of this behaviour. Considering the average car cost round there, i would say it is fairly quiet.

Come to Tameside we have a budget version of this. Since the so called lockdown it has been more popular. It’s like the budget Grand Prix round here at the moment. Plenty of Vauxhall Novas, Ford Focus, Corsa and Hondas civics ragging it round all night. Occasionally I have noticed the police joining in too in their Astras

Plenty of places I suppose. There were quite a few on Ashton moss the other night, and some on the globe lane industrial estate too.

The majority of the people who will be driving like idiots will be rentals.

Some true owners will, most however will not want to risk the potential costs involved with treating these type of cars like a twat.

So with that in mind I don't know how you would solve the problem other than putting in "lift" height sleeping policemen in the problem road sections.

My eldest daughter used to work for Bentley on the motorsport side, and has driven (not in races) their Continental GT (GT3 spec) round most of the race tracks on the European circuit. At around 550bhp, and over a tonne lighter than the road car, it can shift!

You ain’t seen nothing till you get in a Nissan GT concept edition.
