That is a load of nonsense. Juventus got relegated due to match fixing, that does not seem to have damaged their reputation too much. We all know what Liverpool fans did at Hysel, yet they are still the media darlings. The narrative is set by the media. In 10 years time, if we continue being successful, it will be our ex players who will be dominant in the media and the narrative will change. There will be no lasting damage to our reputation at all imo.
